Hillcrest-Bruce Mission is a place where those in need have their needs met.
A place where the love of Christ is demonstrated in practical ways.
A place where teens can hang out and play Wii.
A place where children can learn their ABC's and "Jesus loves me this I know."
A place that provides a bridge between those who want to help and those who need help.
A place where hearts can hear.
A place where hands help.
For 41 years, Hillcrest-Bruce Mission has been all this and more.
Welcome to the Hillcrest-Bruce Mission web-site. If you are familiar with our mission and a regular supporter, we are happy that you are visiting us here. If you are new to our mission, allow us to tell you about Hillcrest-Bruce Mission. We serve the physical and spiritual needs of the residents of the Pollard Community of Ashland, Ky., which includes those living in the Hillcrest and the Bruce apartment complexes. We are celebrating our 41st Anniversary of service in this area in 2011. We offer a food pantry, household and hygiene items, and a low-cost dental clinic. We operate a free Pre-School, a youth program, Men's bible study, ladies bible study, a computer lab, homemakers, and bingo for our clients, where they can win prizes of household items that have been donated. All of these programs are made available through donations made by individuals like you, as well as our sponsoring United Methodist churches, the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, United Way and other churches in the Ashland area. Thank you for your interest in the mission. If you have any questions, or would like more information about us , please contact our
